We hope you enjoy your new system and products for many years to come, and stand strongly behind the products and manufactures we use. Because of this, we are proud to offer a two-year warranty on labour and materials from the date of install.

No additional products or vouchers are required, the two-year warranty will automatically be applied to all products supplied and installed by D.B. Smart Homes & Security, LLC.

There are unfortunately times that a product can malfunction due to no fault of the manufacturer or installer. If you discover a problem with a product installed by us, then please notify us in writing via office@dbsmarthomes.com, and we will arrange a service call to repair or replace the item at no cost to you, within the first two years from the date of install.

Equipment and installation are covered under workmanship performed by D.B. Smart Homes & Security only. Any modifications or changes made after installation, other than by a D.B. Smart Homes & Security installer, will void the warranty.

D.B. Smart Homes & Security also reserves the right to charge for product replacement or service within the first two years, thus voiding the warranty under these terms,

– Obvious misuse or mistreatment of equipment causing damage to the product.
– Use of the product for situations or applications for what the product was not designed.
– Not following maintenance instructions given by D.B. Smart Homes & Security, resulting in damage to the product.
– Damage to material or equipment caused by accident, vandalism, flood, water, lightning, fire, intrusion, abuse, misuse, or an act of God.

Tampering with any installed devices including, but not limited to: cameras, software, wiring, sensors, etc., causing damage to the device tampered with or residual damage or video or alarm monitoring loss will be the sole responsibility of the customer.
